Bright ruby red colour; in the nose red, ripe fruit, pepper, cinnamon, also some leather and tobacco; full-bodied with noticeable tannins on the palate, the finish is long - a force.

Production; 3600 bottles. For this wine only the so called "orecchie" grapes are used. This is the place with the highest sugar content of the berry, which is dried during three months. After the following minifaction, the wine is aged for 30 mt. in wooden barrels, then refined in the bottle for 6 mt.
Corte Figaretto is a family business located in the middle of the Valpantena valley, which is in the north of Verona. The family is winemakers by passion. This is probably the best way to describe the enthusiasm and dedication with which they carry out their profession.
In their wine cellar ancient tradition meets modern technology. Maintaining traditions, together with modern production methods, dedication and the use of selected grapes, enables Corte Figaretto to create unique wines of the highest quality. The cellar is under the care of Paolo Grigolli (oenologist), while Mauro Bustaggi is responsible for the total 10 hectares.
