Lightening garnet ruby. Red cherries and small wild strawberries dominate the finely composed nose, also milk chocolate and some cocoa. A good fruit sweetness and a lot of elegance in the red-berry dominated palate, full-bodied and of perfect structure. Wine journalist Markus Kilchmann rated the Rompidèe among the Top 50 CH wines in the Sunday newspaper of Oct. 4, 2015, in 4th place!
Since its foundation in 1880, the family business Chiodi Ascona, one of the top houses in Ticino, has been producing high-quality wines from the Pedemonte region (Tegna, Vercio and Cavigliano), among others.
