Vivid and intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The fragrances are ripe and show a rich fruit with hints of sweet black cherries and roasted aromas. The taste is powerful and contrasts with the acidic swing typical of the vine and the concise presence of the tannins. A wine with great potential.

The modern organic vineyard Colline di Sopra was founded in autumn 2006 and taken over by the agronomist ETH Ulrich Ziegler in 2015. Located in the Montescudaio DOC, the 93-hectare estate has an excellent terroir. It consists of a productive vineyard of 12 hectares planted with grape varieties typical of Costa Tuscany and a further 18 hectares of new planting, including white grape varieties. The cultivation of the vineyard is strictly organic and is controlled by the certification authority ICEA. The winery is located 10 km from the sea and 15 km from Bolgheri, in the sunny and well-ventilated valley of the Cecina river.
