Tai rosso is the local name for the Garnacha vine (Cannonau, Grenache Noir). Berry aromas reminiscent of blackberry are present in the nose as well as on the palate. On the finish, the Tai shows a robust structure with fine, sweet tannins, fine acidity and subtle wood notes. Beautifully fresh and yet complex. "With 95 points in its price range, the Tai rosso 2016 took first place in "Decanter Italy 2019" "
Gianni Tessari, born in Brognoligo in 1963, began to revolutionize the Soave together with his brother in the early eighties. Years of the Italian wine boom followed, in which the Tessari brothers played a decisive role. In the nineties the red varieties such as Amarone and Ripasso were added. 2013 was the turning point for Gianni Tessari. He left the family winery and now runs the Marcato winery in Roncà, which he now runs together with his wife and two daughters under the giannitessari label.
