A light coppery gold color and fresh aromas, enriched by notes of fig and rhubarb jam, ending with light notes of vanilla, cinnamon and brioche. Very lively and dynamic on the palate with citrus fruits such as lemon and grapefruit. The aromatic persistence continues with creamy notes of raspberry, fresh white fruit and pineapple, with slight hints of passion fruit.

The history of the Cattier family begins in 1625 in Chigny-les-Roses, where they planted vines. Since then, the winery has been passed down through 12 generations. Alexandre Cattier is now the thirteenth descendant to work the vines and make his own champagne. Under the guidance of Jean-Jacques Cattier, the brand has evolved through hard work and passion. Most of Cattier's cellars are located below the family estate in Rilly-la-Montagne. They are over 150 years old and provide ideal conditions for bottle aging. With 119 steps on one side and 136 on the other, these cellars are among the deepest in Champagne. They were excavated on three levels with different vault styles: Gothic, Romanesque and Renaissance. Our Brut Premier Cru ages there for over four years, even though the regulations only require 15 months. Our highest quality bottles even require over eight years to develop their unique flavors.
