Consent Privacy Policy

By using the Vergani website, you expressly agree to the following terms:

Vergani & Co. AG is financially and legally independent and complies with the provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act and the European GDPR when collecting and processing personal data.

Purposeful and proportionate

Vergani collects and processes data exclusively for its own purposes in order to provide free and fee-based services and to improve its offers. Data is protected by appropriate measures during transmission (e.g. by means of SSL encryption) and storage. Personal data is processed in accordance with legal requirements.

Your privacy is important to us. To ensure that you retain control of your personal information, we collect and process it only in accordance with applicable data protection laws and make every effort to protect your personal information.

Your personal data at Vergani

Personal data is information that can be used to identify you or that can be assigned to you. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address, your e-mail and IP address, your purchasing activities and your password. If you are in contact with us for the purpose of processing your order in our online shop, via e-mail or via other means of communication, if you would like to receive our periodic newsletters and other information or if you are interested in our events or services, we collect, process and use your personal data for our own purposes.

We only pass them on to third parties if we work with external partners for our events and services. The data thus passed on may only be used by our partners to fulfil their services (e.g. notification of delivery). Other suppliers and auxiliary persons (e.g. for setting up, servicing and maintaining our IT systems) may also have access to your personal data and are therefore contractually obliged by us to comply with all applicable data protection provisions.

Our measures to protect your personal data at Vergani

We apply such technical, organisational and other measures as we deem appropriate to protect your personal data from loss, disclosure and, most importantly, unauthorised access, such as the issuance of directives, training, IT and network security solutions, access controls and restrictions and other controls. We regularly review our security policies and processes with our IT specialists to ensure that your data is protected.

Our use of your personal data at Vergani

We use your personal data primarily to recommend our products and services to you, to process your orders and to fulfil our legal obligations, in particular our accounting obligations. In addition, we use your personal data to further develop our products and services, for security measures (IT, building and communication security) and, if you have permitted us to do so, to send you our publications and other information. To protect legitimate interests, we must disclose personal data in certain cases. This can be the case with (i) statutory obligations to provide information, (ii) legal disputes and (iii) the collection of debts.

Analysis of website usage

The visits to our websites are evaluated by means of Google Analytics and cookies for the purpose of improving the offer. An order processing contract has been concluded with Google. The data is collected anonymously and not on a personal basis. You can generally deactivate Google Analytics with the help of a browser add-on.

When you send us data, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your data for the specified purpose. Unless otherwise stated, this data will be stored in the form of an email. When you submit personal data to us online, we assume that you consent to respond via the same or a more secure communication channel. Share sensitive data such as usernames and passwords with us via separate communication channels.

By registering for the newsletter, you expressly agree that we can send you information and statistically evaluate the accesses independently of the person. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking on the corresponding link in the newsletter or by e-mail.
