Bright ruby red colour; in the nose red, ripe fruit, pepper, cinnamon, also some leather and tobacco; full-bodied with noticeable tannins on the palate, the finish is long - a force.
Vinification
Production; 3400 bottles. For this wine, only the so-called "orecchia" of the grapes are used. This is the part of the grape with the highest sugar content, which is dried for three months. After the subsequent vinification, the wine is aged in wooden barrels for 30 months, followed by refinement in the bottle for 6 months.
