The Barbaresco Faset is characterized by a radiant ruby red and a complex bouquet of ripe raspberries, orange zest and floral notes. On the palate, it reveals a clear raspberry fruit with grippy tannins, complemented by spicy and noble bitter notes. This wine offers a balance of concentration and lightness, characterized by its intensity and length.
Vinification
Whole berry fermentation with maceration in wood for about 12 days, aging: 12 months in large wooden barrels (25hl) then 12 months in clay barrels. Further bottle aging for 6 months. Production of 4'882 bottles JG 2018

A wonderful discovery at Vinitaly 2022, Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, founders of the Gelati multi-company Grom, after selling their ice cream empire to Unilever, bought 30ha of land in Barbaresco, 10ha of which are planted with vines. There they produce today high-quality Barbarescos from single vineyards, which meet the highest standards. Other wines such as Barbera d'Asti or excellent Piemonte DOC complete the range.
