Deep purple red; intense fragrance of wild berries, chocolate and spices; voluminous body with slightly sweet tannins; very warm and long finish Produced only in very small quantities.
Vinification
After fermentation and maceration on the skins, the pix is transferred to new barriques for malolactic fermentation, where it rests for 12 to 15 months.

Elvidio Alessandri has created a real jewel box for himself with his estate of only 11 hectares. When his '93 Akronte received the 'tre bicchieri' from the 'Gambero rosso', the attention was drawn to this small vineyard in the southern Marche. Alessandri took the sale of these exceptional wines into his own hands. In the cellar he is advised by the successful oenologist Fabrizio Ciufoli. Boccadigabbia once belonged to the "hundred estates" of Civitanova, which were under the rule of Napoleon. As before, all the estates and colonial manors in this area bear and honour the capital N in their coat of arms.
