Roccapesta

The wine-growing estate consists of about 72 hectares in a panoramic position in Scansano with a wide view over Saturnia to the Tyrrhenian Sea. For many years Alberto Tanzini, together with his father Leonardo, has been looking for a perfect place, far away from the hectic city, for his winery. The search has led him from Valpolicella to Val d'Orcia, always unsuccessfully. He was convinced that the place he was looking for did not exist. But after a long search he finally found "his" Roccapesta. The dimensions of the winery were far greater than originally planned. The passion for wine and his adventurous spirit encouraged Alberto in his dream. Countless awards from renowned critics testify to the high quality of Roccapasta, which is now undoubtedly one of the best Morellino producers.
