Deep garnet red; fine aroma of ripe blackberries, red peppers and coffee; the palate exudes warmth and depth. Wine full of character; rarity in low production.
Vinification
After a long maceration, the wine is aged for 18-20 months in new French oak barriques.

Elvidio Alessandri has created a real jewel box for himself with his estate of only 11 hectares. When his '93 Akronte received the 'tre bicchieri' from the 'Gambero rosso', the attention was drawn to this small vineyard in the southern Marche. Alessandri took the sale of these exceptional wines into his own hands. In the cellar he is advised by the successful oenologist Fabrizio Ciufoli. Boccadigabbia once belonged to the "hundred estates" of Civitanova, which were under the rule of Napoleon. As before, all the estates and colonial manors in this area bear and honour the capital N in their coat of arms.
