Ruby red, Clean aromas of ripe fruit and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it is fine, juicy, very elegant, harmonious and balanced. Beautiful minerality with a long finish.

Stratum Wines is a project of Bodega Cerrón in Jumilla, run by the fourth generation of the Cerdán family - siblings Carlos, Juanjo and Lucía. The family cultivates around 30 hectares of high-altitude, untrained vines, predominantly Monastrell, on calcareous soils and practises biodynamic agriculture. Their cultivation method has been certified organic since 1989 and was certified biodynamic by Demeter in 2021. They rely on extensive greening of the vineyards, work intensively with animals and promote biodiversity. In the winery, they follow a minimal intervention approach, use spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and largely avoid oak. Sulphur is used sparingly and only during bottling. This meticulous work results in well-balanced wines that display a lively minerality and a distinct character of origin and emphasize the pure fruit.
