The insistence on the continuation of the family traditions handed down through the ages is an invaluable asset for the Porello family. Their first vineyards date back to the first half of the last century. After the Second World War, the legacy was taken over by the children Riccardo and Ettore. These were the years of the economic boom and industrialisation of Italy. The family business, now in its third generation, is now run by Riccardo's son Marco. He took over the management of the family business in 1994, after having obtained the university diploma in oenology at the Scuola Enologica di Alba (Cuneo) and having gained some important experience in France, in the Bordeaux region, and in Tuscany.
