The winery Gini looks back on a long tradition in the production area of Soave and today covers 25 hectares of vineyards. Part of the vineyard 'LA FROSCÀ' was already owned by the family in 1700. The winery is managed by the brothers Sandro and Claudio Gini. The present success is due to a restrictive management of the low hectoliter yields. When the vegetation is abundant, a large part of the grapes is cut out. Harvesting is carried out up to three times to ensure that all grapes are obtained at the peak of their ripeness. The newly built winery, which was dug into the rock, is located in Monteforte d'Alpone, certainly one of the best sites for Soave.
