La Rasina

The winery was founded in the 70s by Santi Mantengoli. But it was only when his son Marco Mantengoli joined the company in 1997 that the winery experienced its boom. Marco is a trained oenologist and knows perfectly how to bring his new ideas and modern vinification to the winery. La Rasina has now grown to a size of 45 hectares. Of this 11.5 hectares are planted with vines and 4 hectares with olive trees. About 15'000 bottles of Rosso di Montalcino and 30'000 bottles of Brunello are vinified annually.
