Nardini
"Acquavite Nardini" has been produced and bottled in Bassano del Grappa since 1779. The founder of the most traditional distillery in Italy was Bortolo Nardini, who in April 1779 purchased an inn at the east end of the famous Bassano Bridge on the banks of the Brenta River. The inn, with its strategic location for the water supply, became an important part of the distilling process. At that time, the Brenta River was an important waterway, mainly used for the transport of goods by boats to distant Venice. Today Nardini is a company that has managed to preserve its precious tradition and combine it with the most advanced manufacturing technologies. Nardini is managed by Giuseppe, Cristina, Angelo, Antonio and Leonardo, all members of the family. The production amounts to about 4 million bottles, which are exported to the main markets worldwide, which include Australia, the United States, Japan and China.
