Producer
NARDINI
"Acquavite Nardini" has been produced and bottled in Bassano del Grappa since 1779. The founder of the most traditional distillery in Italy was Bortolo Nardini, who in April 1779 bought an inn at the east end of the famous Bassano bridge on the banks of the river Brenta. The inn, with its strategic position for water supply, became an important part of the distilling process. At that time the river Brenta was an important waterway, mainly used for the transport of goods by boat to faraway Venice. Today Nardini is a company that has managed to preserve its precious tradition and combine it with the most advanced production technologies. Nardini is managed by Giuseppe, Cristina, Angelo, Antonio and Leonardo, all of whom are part of the family. The production amounts to about 4 million bottles, which are exported to the most important markets worldwide, including Australia, the USA, Japan and China.
