Cherry red. Powerful and complex bouquet. Aromas of pastry and ripe fruit with balsamic and mineral notes. Spicy notes of coffee, figs and coconut with fine memories of black fruit and undergrowth. In the mouth strong, very pleasant and balanced. Long and silky with noble and well integrated tannins. Wonderful finish. This category of Rioja wines does not focus on Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, but rather on parcel wines with an emphasis on the individual sites and their typicality.

Aging: 24 months in French and American oak barrels
Producer
DOMINIO DE QUEIRóN
Dominio de Queirón is the project of the Pérez Cuevas family (Ontanon), which has been dedicated to the world of wine for four generations. The winery is located in the heart of the Barrio de Bodegas de Quel, a typical 18th century enclave that shows the historical importance of this town in La Rioja for winemaking. Dominio de Queirón is the fulfillment of the dream of Gabriel Pérez, a winemaker who has been elaborating this project for more than a decade. Gabriel has obtained historic vineyards in the area of Quel, at the foot of the Sierra de Yerga, such as the centenary Garnachas of Finca El Arca to the high altitude Tempranillos of Finca La Pasada, which is one of the highest vineyards in the entire Rioja DOCa, up to 800 meters above sea level.
