Notes
The nose is very elegant, rich and concentrated, with fruity and spicy notes of cassis and blackberries and pepper. Warm and soft on the palate, with good acidity and dense tannins of high quality. Long finish.
Vinification
Whole berry fermentation with maceration in wood for about 12 days, aging: 12 months in large wooden barrels (25hl) then 12 months in clay barrels. Production of 2'063 bottles JG 2019

A wonderful discovery at Vinitaly 2022, Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, founders of the Gelati multi-company Grom, after selling their ice cream empire to Unilever, bought 30ha of land in Barbaresco, 10ha of which are planted with vines. There they produce today high-quality Barbarescos from single vineyards, which meet the highest standards. Other wines such as Barbera d'Asti or excellent Piemonte DOC complete the range.
