Franciacorta, the most prestigious sparkling wine in Italy and one of the finest sparkling wines in the world. The perlage is very fine and persistent; straw-yellow colour; scent of peach, apple, apricot and vanilla; in the mouth rich and velvety, not too dry, the fruity aromas are enhanced on the palate by a pleasant aroma of bitter almonds.
Vinification
The grapes are strictly selected. the base wines ferment for 5 months in small oak barrels. The blend consists of 25 base wines. The second fermentation in bottle lasts 48 months.

In 1965 Annamaria Clementi Zanella moved with her son Maurizio to the impressive hilly landscape of Franciacorta. After graduating from high school, the young Maurizio deepened his oenological knowledge at the universities of Beaune and Bordeaux. On his return, he modernised and expanded the family estate and from then on produced wines and sparkling wines of world class and prestige. Gambero Rosso, the leading Italian wine publication, has awarded Cà del Bosco the title 'Winery of the Year 2003'. Furthermore, Maurizio Zanella has been awarded 'tre bicchieri' countless times for his sparkling and still wines.
